Public Notification: Closure of Clare Walker Consultancy & Clare Walker Consulting
As 2025 draws to a close, with great sadness, due to ill health; so too is the ending of Clare Walker Consultancy & Clare Walker Consulting.
Over the last 4 months behind the scenes whilst juggling health issues and needs, we have been informing those who these closures have had immediate
impact on. As well as addressing the legal and formal requirements of closing businesses.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank individuals, with an abundance of gratitude to all involved who I have worked with to assist in the progress, development, and reach of our services over the past 14 years, including the work of closing both companies this year.
Additionally, to all the incredible victims and survivors, both female and male. Who I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with and support through my
work. Their trust in me, their undying tenacity and resolve to reach justice, freedom and liberty for their children and themselves…continually leaves me in
awe, I salute you all with pride.
Lastly, an insurmountable gratitude to the victims and survivors who felt able to step up during lockdown, by offering their time and compassion to others in
volunteering with Clare Walker Consultancy. This team of volunteers were managed and led by my daughter, Sophie Jones who I am also indebted too. The
volunteers gained employment with Clare Walker Consultancy through external funding as well as funds drawn from Clare Walker Consulting. Sadly, external
funding ended, our amazing volunteers chose to continue their work in the role as volunteers. These wonderfully compassionate volunteers enabled the
continuation of the online support group; The VOICE Programme with an additional gratitude to Deb; who has been with us the longest and supported the
women attending group the most – a true gem.
As a co-founder and co-creator of The VOICE Programme, I handed the progress and development of The VOICE Programme to the safe and uber capable hands of my good friend, colleague and co-creator/co-founder, Cathy Press. Who I am also truly grateful to on many levels, but not least her continuation of providing the professionals training, to enable the increased availability of The VOICE Programme, to victims and survivors.
I send my continued strength and admiration to those brave enough to say, #No More. Whether you’re just beginning to navigate their healing journey, to those already going through their journey, and those who feel they have already completed their journeys. You are the true definitions of #NotAllHeroesWhereCapes
With kindness, compassion and truth,
Clare Walker: Domestic Abuse Consultant
